It was a rainy Tuesday evening in 2023 when our founders, Jayant Shankra and Pintu Sahu, found themselves stranded at the airport. Multiple ride-sharing apps showed "no drivers available," surge pricing was through the roof, and customer support was a maze of automated responses.

That's when a local taxi driver, Ramesh Uncle, approached with a warm smile. "Need a ride, beta?" Within minutes, they were on their way home, chatting about local cricket matches and getting insider tips about the best street food in the area.

"Why can't all travel be this personal?" they wondered. That question sparked the idea for EzyRides.in - a platform that would preserve the human connection in transportation while making it accessible to everyone.
